Talk with your supplier about it.  As far as possible, never go for a warranty of less than 30 days.  And even 30 days is a bit short as used copiers are an investment.  Make it a point to protect that investment.

Also, you should always keep in mind that it’s a good idea to have a maintenance agreement.  This way you can be confident that service is available to take care of all of the parts which may be prone to damage or breakage, for example the belts and drum.  When you are on the hunt for a used copier, the assurance that you receive with it is absolutely worth the price of the service coverage.

However, you may run into suppliers who will give you a huge discount but then let you have the used copier as is.  And when you are given a warranty, it’s usually just a very short time span, like two weeks. Yes, this sounds like it may be an even better deal for used copiers, but now you’re taking all the risk.  Just imagine how much you could spend for all the maintenance and repairs in the long run.
