Comparing Copier Machines
Copier machines are one of the most important office supplies for running the copying and printing industries. When getting this machine, you have to choose a machine the best fits your needs. This is due to the fact that this machine doesn’t exactly come from a one-for-all option.
In order to get the best machine that you need, you should be able to make some differentiating among all the other available copier machines out there in the market. The three most important things to consider are features, size and the price.
Features have to include speed of the machine while doing copying jobs. You should also look for the options that must be automated in nature and have other functions that the machine can do aside from just copying and printing. Some other machines do include multifaceted options like scanning and printing, as well.
Size does matter. You have to choose a machine that can be conveniently placed on your desired area of operation. Certain commercial printing shops have large and bulky machines while those small market shops do have a smaller size for their copiers. If your needs do not really have to include large amount of copying to be done on a daily basis, copiers that are small should do just fine.
Price is arguably the one factor that is being looked for when searching for suitable copying machines. People put into consideration the quality to price ratio to get the most out of their money. Consequently, you don’t need to be buying copiers that have features that you don’t necessarily need. Now as a recap, you should consider features of the machine, size and price. You will find that considering these three important factors will surely payoff in the future once your company or establishment starts using it.

Office Copiers Invention
Do you know who came up with the idea of copiers? He is an American named Chester Carlson. Such concept transpired due to his need to reproduce several patents in a shorter period of time. Initially, he leaned towards photography, but it was ruled out almost immediately. Later on, he discovered that the photo conductivity of the surface of certain materials can be increased and such would help him in the reproduction of several copies of certain documents.
With time, this machine has gone through an array of improvements. Many other features are incorporated for it to be more user-friendly and functional. There are now multifunctional ones that feature printing and scanning capabilities. That being said, you will no longer be required to buy separate scanners or printers and this is certainly much more practical and convenient.
Without a doubt, copier machine are very cost-effective. They also come with immense convenience because you no longer have to re-type or re-print documents. This comes particularly in handy when you work in an office setting. This can also be very helpful to students, researchers, writers, and the likes.
If you are on the hunt to find the perfect on, you need to know that there are factors to have to take into consideration. One thing to take into account is the speed of the machine. How many copies can the machine produce in a single minute? The resolution or the clarity should also be checked. You should consider if you prefer a color or black and white model. Last but not least, you also need to consider the cost.
This will be a very helpful tool in any workplace, no argument there.
I need help choosing a printer, please?
Question by sali s: I need help choosing a printer, please?
I am going to buy a new printer and I am overwhelmed by the choices. I want an all-in-one printer, scanner, copier. I want it to have wireless capabilities. I want good quality picture prints. I have tried to read all the reviews I can, but, there are so many to choose from, I get frustrated. Help please!
Oh, and this may be a silly question, but, does it matter if I use Firefox 3 or IE? Are all printers compatible with all browsers?

Q&A: Help finding a high-volume all in one printer?
Question by Derek D: Help finding a high-volume all in one printer?
I work at a small-town police department and we need a color laser all in one unit that will print around 30,000 pages per year. We use a Samsung CLX-3175fn now and it seems like every part has to be replaced in the printer before the year is up. We burn through cartridges and now have to replace the imaging unit and will soon have to replace rollers, etc. We don’t want to spend thousands on some big printer but want something that has a very cheap price-per-page print and doesn’t require the replacement of parts before the several hundred thousand print count. Network capability is also a must.

Any network enabled printer with that print duty will go through extras very fast, color printing is VERY expensive, you need to look at a cheapish commercial printer which are built much more substantially than home type printers, you need someone to calculate all the costs including maintenance over the life of the computer to get a true cost per page you will probably find the more expensive printers are actually cheaper for high output printing overall.

It sounds like it needs service. You might consider reposting with the specific make and model. Hard to troubleshoot without knowing what it is.
You might consider going to the manufacturer’s website and looking up the manual for your copier.
