I’m a beginner at computers,and I’m looking for the above.I like simplicity,easy setup and a $ 100 to $ 175 price range.Also.are the “refurbished”models safe to buy? thanks.

My gut feeling is always not to recommend an all-in-one. First of all, they are usually ink jets, not lasers, and the printing cost is about 10 times that of a laser, because even though a laser cartridge costs about 2 to 3 times as much as ink cartridges, it lasts much longer.

Secondly, if one part of the machine develops a problem and the unit has to be repaired, you lose all functions until the unit is returned or replaced.
