There is about a 2.5 feet gap only between her chair and the photocopying machine. But the chair has a thick back, still she has been sick more often than usual (ever since the seating arrangement was changed due to moving to a better premise)

Yes. Definitely it will affect her health. The toner used in Xerox or Photo copying machine contains combination of several chemicals and it is harmful, if a person inhale the same for continuously for long time. It leads to lung diseases including cancers. Also the electrical rays flashed out of the machine is harmful as it contains ultrasonic rays. It is better to avoid sitting with the machine for long time-.
